We know the most current practices in real-world manufacturing, safety and quality assurance, which we replicate in our labs for industry-standard training. 1 year of study Quality assurance is a growing profession, with very good opportunities for promotion and high earnings. In just one year, Sheridan's Quality Assurance – Manufacturing and Management program can put you on the path to a rewarding career. Targeted career preparation Sheridan's Quality Assurance program emphasizes practical, hands-on instruction and career preparation. You'll work with international standards such as ISO9000 and TS16949 while learning state-of-the-art quality assurance applications. Additional information Learn state-of-the-art quality assurance applications in: Statistics Designing of experiments Statistical quality control Management of total quality Quality planning ISO implementation and documentation Quality audits Reliability and product safety Product safety Measurements and testing Lean Six Sigma Supply chain management The program offers professional preparation for a quality assurance career, including in-depth coverage of material that appears on the examinations for the professional designations of Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) offered by American Society for Quality. After completing two academic terms, students can apply for a paid co-op work term to gain professional experience while deepening their education. Enrolment is limited and requires a separate application process and requirements. To be eligible for acceptance in co-op, one has to have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and no D grade in the first term. To remain in co-op, similar academic performance must be maintained in the second term as well. Companies in all areas of business and industry (including automotive, aviation, chemical, computer, electronics, energy, food, mechanical, moulding, plastics, and pharmaceutical) employ quality assurance personnel. Sheridan's Quality Assurance – Manufacturing and Management courses are held at the Davis Campus in Brampton, Ontario.
